On our website, we use the X Conversion Tracking of Twitter International Company, a group company of X, Corp. based in the USA, on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR with regard to data processing and in accordance with § 25 para. 1 TTDSG with regard to the use of cookies. A contract for order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR was concluded for this purpose. In addition, in the event of data transfer to affiliated group companies based in third countries under data protection law, suitable guarantees for the protection of data subjects within the meaning of Art. 46 para. 1 GDPR are in place through the conclusion of standard data protection clauses in accordance with Art. 46 para. 2 lit. c) GDPR. We use X Conversion Tracking to optimise our online campaigns and to track the users of our website. The IP address, device and browser properties (user agent), the website accessed, the referrer URL and the time stamp are processed on our behalf in order to analyse the use of our online offering, compile reports on the activities within our online offering and provide other services associated with the use of our online offering. It is also possible to create pseudonymised user profiles, which X can link to existing user accounts.

X Conversion Tracking is used with pseudonymisation or anonymisation of personal data. The personal data is deleted after 90 days at the latest. Anonymised data is stored for a maximum of six months. In addition, only strictly necessary cookies are used on our website in accordance with Section 25 (2) No. 2 TTDSG. The subsequent processing of your personal data takes place on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. Integrated services

We use the Podigee web player to integrate and display our podcast episodes. Through the integration and use of the web player, both usage data (e.g. access times) and communication data (e.g. IP addresses, browser information) can be processed by Podigee. We have no influence on the further processing of personal data by Podigee.  Data processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR, whereby the legitimate interests arise from the appealing presentation of our media content and ensuring the security of the Podigee web player.

  • Vimeo, Vimeo Inc, 555 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10011, USA – Display of video content

On the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR, we integrate our content from the video platform Vimeo of Vimeo Inc. for the appealing presentation of our activities. Your declaration of consent also expressly includes the possible worldwide transfer and processing of data by the affiliated group companies of Vimeo, Inc. We would like to expressly point out any risks in this regard, for example the far-reaching access rights of investigating authorities and the more difficult enforcement of data protection rights of data subjects.

When the video content is displayed, the user’s IP address and other browser-related information is transmitted to Vimeo. Due to a data protection-friendly implementation of the video content, no cookies are set when using Vimeo. However, if you are currently logged in to Vimeo as a user, Vimeo may assign this information to your personal user account.

With your consent, we use the YouTube embedding function on our website to display and play YouTube videos. The processing of your personal data associated with the integration is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR. In accordance with Art. 49 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR, your declaration of consent also expressly includes the possible worldwide transfer and processing of data by other group companies of Google Ireland Limited. In this regard, we would like to expressly point out any risks, for example the far-reaching access rights of investigating authorities and the more difficult enforcement of data protection rights of data subjects.

By displaying the video content, the user’s IP address and other browser-related information is transmitted to Google. By embedding the videos in extended data protection mode, no further personal data is processed. Additional information is only transmitted to Google when you click on the video to view it so that the video content can be displayed. If you are logged in to YouTube as a user, Google assigns this information to your personal user accounts.

Use of service providers for the provision of the website

To provide the website, we use service providers who process personal data on behalf of the controller or through whom access to personal data cannot be ruled out. We have concluded data processing agreements with all of these service providers in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. In addition to the service providers already mentioned, these are Host Europe GmbH (hosting) and the Raufeld Medien GmbH (technical support).

Rights of data subjects and contact with the data protection officer

Data subjects may at any time request information about the personal data concerning them and, if necessary, rectification or erasure or restriction of processing or object to processing.
