It has long been possible to go online at (almost) any location, which constitutes an amazing technical achievement. Experts now speak of the Fifth Generation (5G) of the mobile network, which has been designed to make telecommunications even more efficient and faster. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-mobilfunkdaten-werden-in-highspeed-bertragen\">Cellular data is transmitted at high speed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"AIRRAYS Massive MIMO Antenna Reference Design on Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/utjXbqylBMU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Damit das funktioniert, braucht es simpel gesprochen drei Dinge: Daten, einen Sender und einen Empf\u00e4nger. Die zeichnen sich durch entsprechende Antennen aus, um miteinander zu kommunizieren. Die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xilinx.com\/applications\/wired-wireless\/wireless.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Xilinx Dresden<\/a> hat solche Antennen f\u00fcr 5G entwickelt. Die \u201emassiven MIMO-Antennen\u201c sind kleine leistungsf\u00e4hige Highspeed-Computer, mit denen Mobilfunkdaten zehnmal schneller als heute \u00fcblich \u00fcbertragen werden k\u00f6nnen. \u201eEs gibt nur einen kleinen Kreis von Unternehmen weltweit, die in der Lage sind, eine solche Technologie zu entwickeln, und wir in Dresden geh\u00f6ren dazu\u201c, sagt Dr. Wolfram Drescher, Senior Director bei Xilinx Dresden.
